we're seeking out next superintendent

The Putnam City School Board has officially begun the search for the District’s next superintendent in partnership with the Oklahoma State School Boards Association (OSSBA).

OSSBA will assist the Board in conducting a comprehensive and transparent search process designed to attract highly qualified candidates who will continue advancing the strong traditions and future vision of Putnam City Schools.

As part of this process, the Board and OSSBA are seeking valuable input from District staff, families, and community members. All stakeholders are encouraged to share their perspectives on the qualities and characteristics they believe are most important in the next superintendent through an anonymous ThoughtExchange survey.

“As we start the process of looking for our next superintendent, community input will be important,” said Board President Steve Burger. “We want to ensure that the next superintendent will reflect the priorities and traditions of our District as well as the dreams and goals of our students, staff, and families.”

The survey is open now and can be accessed at https://tejoin.com/scroll/132990641. Input from the community will help guide the Board as it moves forward in selecting the next superintendent. The survey will close on November 13th.
